That's funny. He must have had one heck of an interview. I guess they wanted Nebraska to feel better about their hire, and he just wanted a chance and a raise.
it's almost like Kansas doesn't realize they're in one of the 5 power conferences with buckets of money guaranteed to them every year

I don't know anything about him but it seems to me that it's too big of a jump to go from WR coach to HC. But this is Kansas. Anything will be an upgrade over coach fatty...I mean Coach Weis.

There is no truth to the rumor that David Beaty is, in fact, a death row inmate and that this is the method execution he chose.
If he's trying to get out of Dodge, he's heading to the wrong state.
Maybe he's trying to make a name for himself as a lawman, uh, I mean football coach.
I remember KSU beating Kansas 59-7 and their AD saying this is "'not acceptable". So ..... they fire Turner Gill and bring in a loser from Florida ..... now a no-name from another no-name school. Someone explain how this is acceptable.

must be they just care about Basketball, heck they had Cheesedip, Nutt, that guy from Colorado, and Jeremy Pruitt would take any job.
I can't remember his name but we had an asst coach go to HC, he took over his dada's team up north.
Just another example of why kansas is kansas. You would think after Old Charlie, they would be a little more selective
