Does that #4 schedule rank include Missouri?Almost surely - Bama played the #4 ranked schedule, Oregon the #34.

Plus we are #1 in both polls and the sagarin. We'd be in easily.Almost surely - Bama played the #4 ranked schedule, Oregon the #34.
Maybe it should be, but that perspective runs contrary to the mission of the playoff selection committee. Keep in mind that one preeminent value of the committee is to preserve the integrity of the regular season. This should not be about conference champions--it should be about the four BEST teams.

Doubtful, I don't think it's been updated yet.Does that #4 schedule rank include Missouri?
I don't think anyone can justify saying that TCU or Baylor are better than Ohio State. So the only criteria left is that TCU and Baylor did not play in a Conference Championship game and their records are NOT as good as Ohio State's will be. 12 - 1 vs 11 - 1.This should not be about conference champions--it should be about the four BEST teams.

Except that the committee already said it was about conference champions...This should not be about conference champions--it should be about the four BEST teams.

Agreed, but it's hard to argue against the added body of work from a true conference championship game - the teams playing conference championship games are playing ranked teams. This should not be about conference champions--it should be about the four BEST teams.
I stand by my statement. I'm just not sold on the big ten conference. On a neutral field I think TCU beats the Buckeyes. Unfortunately, I don't think the committee will agree with me.I don't think anyone can justify saying that TCU or Baylor are better than Ohio State. But only 2 ranked teams if I recall correctly.BTW, if we hold on tonight, we will have beaten 9 bowl eligible teams. Not SEC teams, but still...
I will give you that point.[emoji4]Agreed, but it's hard to argue against the added body of work from a true conference championship game - the teams playing conference championship games are playing ranked teams.
MSU, MN and WI make three. But only 2 ranked teams if I recall correctly.
