Pulled from another board:

During his SEC career (with LSU and UA).... he is now 9-1 in SEC and National Championship Games. The 9 wins have come against teams ranked (per Wikipedia anyway): 1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 5, and 14. And 7 of the 9 wins have been by double digits. 9-1 in championship games against teams ranked that high is flat out ridiculous.

And I'm sure it won't take long for pundits to say, "Urban Meyer is the only coach who has ever beaten Nick Saban in a title game."

Never mind that we led that game, 20-17, despite playing less than spectacularly entering the fourth quarter. Meyer didn't win because of coaching; he won because his team was better and played better (no Tide fan has ever made any excuse about us using the 2008 SECCG).

This year? Doubt it.

Of course they'll say it, it happened. Cant argue against it. A 9-1 records is incredible, but, the ONLY coach to beat him in a championship game is...Urban Meyer. why would they not say it?

But, this is a different team/different year.
