J.J. Green wanted to play on offense again.
So the Georgia safety is transferring to do that in Paul Johnson’s triple-option offense at Georgia Tech, according to his high school coach. Jeff Herron said Green told him of his plans on Monday, six days after Georgia announced that Green had decided to leave the program.
The 5-foot-9, 185-pound Green would play an A-back or wingback for the Yellow Jackets.
