How is the home team determined? Is it Bama since we are #1?
Pretty sure that the higher seeds get home billing. It also determined where we ended up playing (if Oregon had been #1, the pairings would have remained the same, but if it had been FSU, Oregon, Bama, OSU then we'd be in the Rose Bowl and FSU would be playing OSU in New Orleans, if memory serves)

I like the fact that Ohio St. and Bama have recognizable, traditional uniforms and for this "historical" event Nike didn't try to change them (not that they could've changed Bama's anyway). Even Oregon's unis are closer to the "traditional", if you can even say that, unis of the late 1990s and early 2000s before they started doing the crazy combinations and designs. On Florida St.'s uniforms, I didn't like this year's new look. It has too much "tribal" print. Some would have been fine for obvious reasons, but they over did it. I also don't like the dulled gold.

I also like Bama's undershirts. Very cool.
