The article lists the top ten. Only southern state is Arkansas at #10.

This article won't trend very high as it doesn't confirm many people's preconceptions.

One interesting fact to note is the percentage of the population that is black. The top 3 states in that list have single-digit percentages. Contrast those numbers with these:
