Georgia still had about 2,600 tickets remaining from its allotment of 8,500 that it received from the Belk Bowl as of Thursday afternoon, according to ticket manager Tim Cearley.
That indicates interest in the game from fans is lukewarm or they may have found tickets for less on the secondary market.
Georgia was in position to land in one of the top-tier bowls after the national semifinals before losing to Georgia Tech.
