You mean PAT's :wink:Tough kid, and, as a man who suffers with back spasms, I can sympathize with him - but my sympathy isn't going to help him kick FGs.
They continue to recur and they have cut short the career of many athletes, amateur and pro alike...Is the stress fracture healed or is he still facing issues with his back?
yeah, that was getting tedioushttp://www.al.com/alabamafootball/index.ssf/2014/12/alabama_kicker_adam_griffith_p.html

Oh my, that's terrible news. Will they affect him if/when he lays off football, i.e. is he going to be ok long-term?They continue to recur and they have cut short the career of many athletes, amateur and pro alike...
There's no good way of predicting which ones will recur and how severe they're going to be. They're much more common in the feet and legs. However, I guess if anyone were going to get it in the back, it would be a kicker...Oh my, that's terrible news. i dealt with this in the past and it can be pure misery. i eventually had to have surgery (14 years ago this spring) after 2-3 years of other treatments but it fixed the problem.I'm recovering from a herniated disk in my back. My two lower disks got messed up. I just had a cortisone shot in between my left pinky toe and the to next to it. I had numbness going down my left toes. On top of that a couple of weeks earlier I had a lower spine epidural. My soreness in my back started in late July. I'm probably going to need another shot in the nerve in my foot next week.
