I don't think there was a lot of coaching going on that week by Chavis. He was already gone by the time that game happened, it just wasn't official yet.

Toe fair, when Chavis was hired at LSU, most of us laughed loudly. The term '3rd and Chaivs' came from his years at tennessee...

Lo and behold, give him LSUs talent and he looked pretty good!

I don't hold the ND game against him - sounds like he had already checked out before that game...

Maybe Mike Stoops thinks that he is tired of the unrealistic fans who go ballistic after every loss, and maybe he thinks that LSU has normal fans who just want their team to play hard and are satisfied with giving it the old college try. Hahahaha!
