First Braxton Miller, and now this. This should be an interesting year....

I live in Who country so I'll try to bring some insight. It is rumored that Brandon Harris (the highly touted recruit from Bossier City) isn't doing the things he needs to do to get on the field. One rumor floating around is Miles has not been pleased with the lack of time in the film room by Harris. That he's not studying film like he should and the playbook is still giving him issues. Now, Miles has indicated the QB position going into the off season is "wide open". I'm not sure what all that means but it could very well mean that bringing someone else in to see if they can take charge is a part of the plan.We could only hope to be so lucky. Why would LSU want him?

Please, please, please Les.... get Golson. He is exactly what BAMA needs at LSU.Golson is certainly capable of delivering the marginal QB performances that we've come to expect from LSU...
At the time Coker looked like a lock to be your starter this year - plus he is an Alabama fan, right? Coming to Alabama was the right decision at the time, and is probably still the right decision for him. He is probably a better all around QB than Miller. IMO, if you pull in Miller the competition will push Coker to a higher level than he would achieve without someone to really compete with him for the job.Looking back, it would have made more sense for Coker to transfer to LSU over Alabama. He would have picked up right where Mettenberger left off.
That would be awesomehttp://www.cbssports.com/collegefoo...es-everett-golson-considering-transfer-to-lsu

Looks like Golson doesn't have the chest to be the QB for LSU.....
I'm still trying to find the fascination with this guy? Must be a ND fetish.Golson is certainly capable of delivering the marginal QB performances that we've come to expect from LSU...
He's going to have competition IMO. Cornwell and Barnett are going to battle and we know Saban will go with whoever gives Bama the best chance to win. I still think Coker will be a slinger next year.At the time Coker looked like a lock to be your starter this year - plus he is an Alabama fan, right? That's what it has become, IMO. Frankly, college football as a whole is trending to be more like college basketball in a lot of ways. No, the turnover isn't as drastic due to no "one and done" players, but for places like Alabama and LSU you are seeing really good players play a little bit as freshmen, a little more as sophomores, and then have a great break out junior year and leave to the NFL. Essentially, you are getting just one really good year out of a lot of these guys. This is almost like all of the "transfers" in College Basketball!
