and some have few other choices and/or are pressured into it by peers, lovers and/or family. Universal generalizations like the ones found in this thread are shameful. Just a spin on the "She clearly wanted it, look the way she dressed" meme
The point is we as a society automatically think they are victims. Not saying many arent. But lets not be naive and think that many dont like it and get a kick out of the attention.

I understand your point but there's a big difference in a buck club and a porn actress. I think most porn actresses are probably doing it for the money. The same would apply to strippers. I wonder if the girls wanting in the buck club would have felt the same if they had been offered money?
I agree. Thats why i said its done in different degrees. Some go to greater extremes than others.

I didn't mean for the post to sound so harsh but I just think as a society we don't ever think to believe that a lot of women enjoy the things that we say they are victims of. They're really not victims. I think we have a hard time believing that. So we come up with other reasons as to why they do the things they do.

We had a group of girls in HS that started a "buck club". Basically, these girls would get a bunch of guys together with them and get "buck" naked. Granted, I know the correct term is "butt" naked but I didn't come up with the name. If you were a girl and wanted to become a part of this club this is what you had to do. And amazingly enough there were no ugly girls volunteering to get in this club. They were all good looking girls. Go figure. But I can promise you none of them were "victims" of something that made them do this. Most were from good homes whose parents would have died if they would have known about it. They wanted to do it because they liked it. No different than a guy wanting to do things to get girls to look at him in awe.
Actually, the term "buck naked" is far, far older. It has a racial/ethnic meaning. The vulgar expression for an Indian warrior was "buck," and they usually didn't wear much in the way of clothes in permitting weather. So, the expression "buck naked" arose. "Butt naked" is really a mishearing of the original term, aided, of course, by the anatomical reference...

Things have apparently changed significantly since I was in high school.
I knew that when I went to open house and they don't even have pencils or chalk; they make their hands in a motion and it writes down on the screen to do the math problem.

*Hmmph* I must have been too busy playing sports. Of course, back in my day there were only a couple of girls in our class who were buck-worthy. :)

LOL! Well, I was fortunate enough to go to a HS that had plenty of nice looking girls. I too was busy playing sports but I haven't found too many things that can distract a teenage boy from girls. Unless they're gay.
