Two Georgia football early enrollees underwent surgeries this month for injuries prior to arriving on campus.
Defensive end Michael Barnett from Ridgeville, S.C., is expected to miss spring practices. He had surgery this week for a “pre-existing right shoulder labral injury,” according to UGA. He is expected to fully participate in practices this fall.
Outside linebacker/defensive end Natrez Patrick from Atlanta had left thumb surgery last week but is expected to fully participate in spring practices that are slated to being in the third week of March.
