The Baltimore Ravens are parting ways with defensive tackle Terrence Cody, and doing it a little earlier than expected. The Ravens announced on Friday they would terminate Cody's contract after the Super Bowl on Feb. 1. Cody was scheduled to become a free agent when the NFL year ended on March 10.
One of a long list of speakers at Friday ceremony, Alabama quarterback says Fowler talked him out of leaving Crimson Tide.
Arie Kouandjio and Austin Shepherd look to make good first impressions during Senior Bowl week.
Indianapolis general manager Ryan Grigson said running back Trent Richardson missed the Colts' 45-7 loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday because he had been suspended by the team.
Running back Mark Ingram continues to say he prefers to re-sign with the New Orleans Saints rather than join another NFL team through free agency. Ingram said it after the Saints' final game of the 2014 season, and he said it again at the Pro Bowl this week.
The same holds true for Nick Saban. The Crimson Tide were forced to vacate 21 wins from 2005 to 2007 because players improperly obtained free textbooks.
For context, 2005 was two years before Saban arrived at Alabama. Yet he had to be punished for it and have his wins stripped from him because of something that happened two years before he got there. Does that seem fair? Of course not.
