The Tigers are coming off their best four-year stretch in school history, and coach Dabo Swinney’s team is poised to contend for the league title in 2015. Quarterback Deshaun Watson shined in limited action, and if healthy, will be one of the top signal-callers in the nation next year.

Will this be the year Clemson finally wins something really important? I know they are Clemson, but I am going out on a limb, mainly because Miami and Virginia Tech are stuck in neutral and I think FSU will struggle because of lack of direction. Ga Tech continues to defy recruiting results averaging 61 the past three years, which is 9th in the ACC. The wishbone, like the HUNH, seem to be an equalizer. I am picking them down this year, so Go Dabo.

Can Frank Beamer right the Gobbler ship? I think Bobby Bowden said he was doing as he did and staying around too long.

Interesting inasmuch as there are no 2015 ACC schedules. I always have a difficult time picking games when I don't know who is playing who.

So Notre Dame plays 6 ACC teams this year? They may as well go ahead and join up at that point.

"Notre Dame began a 12-year agreement with the ACC this season, which called for five games against ACC foes every year. But existing scheduling issues forced a change to four games this season and six in 2015."

'This season' being 2014.

clemson has had a nice 4-year run, but it is not their best 4-year stretch in school history. They won 79.2% of their games in past 4 years. They've bested this multiple times, including 81-84 (84.4%), 87-90 (83.3%), & 48-51 (80%).

The writer made a mistake or he was taking liberty with the facts. The 41 wins is more wins than any four year period, but it certainly is not the best four year period. Also, they won three conference championships in two three year periods ..... and NONE in the four the writer says is best.

Thank you for doing the research the writer failed to do.

They did win one ACC Championship with one of their 42 wins of that four year period in 2011. But that team will forever be remembered as the team that lost 33-70 to WVU in the Orange Bowl, and not as ACC Champions.

I criticized the writer for error and then I make one. At least I don't claim to be a professional ;)
