FYI, Scout once again has proven that they are very amateurish when it comes to ratings. contradiction comes to mind. That's not really interesting - certainly not surprising in the least - considering the people involved with that site.
you might want to check again.Won't have 247's #1 class, either.
Scout does points x star rating.... Therefore, sign 20 players that are all 4&5 stars and 28 players that are mainly 3&4 star, the class will have more points.... I'd rather have the class with 20 vs 28.FYI, Scout once again has proven that they are very amateurish when it comes to ratings. contradiction comes to mind.
Alabama has 10 of the top 100 recruits according to Scout.
USC has 11 of the top 100 according to Scout.
Yet sandwiched in between those two teams at #2 is auburn
with 3 top 100 recruits.
Good call Mom. Someone on here, maybe Jess, looked at several of our recent recruiting classes and how many actually played regularly and contributed. Seems like that percentage was slightly over 50%, although that varied by class. Maybe ratings should be redone after 4 years. It is nice to be #1, no doubt about that. But..it doesn't bother me at all. It means more with how you develop their talent than what their ranking is before they even start practicing.
Look back in recent years and you can see how many "busts" there are.
Today.I am wondering when people will start saying USC is returning to its glory days.
You are either biased or have no idea what you are talking about - or both.If for some reason you find this concerning, take comfort in the fact that USC's class of highly touted recruits is mainly comprised of CA talent, while ours... is not. Only thing as overrated as CA's talent is Ohio's per capita talent.
Agreed. What was OSU's percentage of players from Ohio last year? Wasn't it something like 70% or maybe more? You are either biased or have no idea what you are talking about - or both.
It was glorious, wasn't it?Anybody else note during the Super Bowl the DB`s looking back for the ball?
TruthAfter the last two years, I don't care about class rankings anymore - I just want the coaches to teach these young men to consistently play at the highest level.
Or neither and my comment hit a nerve. You are either biased or have no idea what you are talking about - or both.
