Yup! I have a lot of older clients who only want FDIC protected products and yell we can only get them 0.55% APR on a 1 yr CD. Even fixed annuity rates stink at 2%-3% for a 5yr term. What is really annoying is when I lose a client to the unscrupulous advisor offering some 4%-6% teaser rate and my client won't read the fine print of the rate becomes 0.1% after 6 months and there is a $200 account close out fee. (Maybe I really don't need them...)
