Atlanta general manager Thomas Dimitroff said he had no regrets about the price paid by the Falcons to get wide receiver Julio Jones. Now the trick will be paying to keep the former Alabama standout in Atlanta while still being able to assemble a championship-caliber team around him and quarterback Matt Ryan.
The wide receiver and the safety have all the measurables. They also have a maturity about them without the look-at-me gene common to their positions.
"If there's one thing I've learned over the years, you can't worry about all the other stuff outside," Coker told Alex Scarborough of ESPN.com. "I just try to go to practice and not read anything. Just stick to the program."
rbr opCoker has the right mental attitude, and a world of physical skills, but it's probably premature for Bleacher Report's national guys to predict him as the starter. Too much talent on the bench behind him, and, frankly, his decision-making and headspace have to catch up with the arm.
