That's flat amazing. On framed houses, building codes, without exception, AFAIK, require the bottom plate be bolted to the foundation or slab. I would imagine the same would be true with log homes (assuming the pic is accurate). However, since it's already elevated, the main hurdle to moving a house would be removed. An audacious feat, in any event...

grand theft building. how exactly do you explain this to the insurance company? sure you are insured if someone breaks into your house and steals things within it, but are you insured if someone steals the whole house?
