Freshman Hannah Cook scored a career-high 24 points on Sunday in an 80-73 loss to Auburn in Alabama's regular season finale at Auburn Arena. With the loss, the Crimson Tide stands at 13-18 overall and closes out the 2015 Southeastern Conference campaign with a 2-14 record, while the win brings the Tigers to 12-17 on the season and 3-13 in league play.

This one was disappointing. Aw in would have meant sweeping AU, avoiding the cellar, and coupled with the nice wins this year over Nebraska, Missouri and playing several top teams close would have meant positive momentum for 2015-16. Make no mistake, CKC is the right person to lead us out of this DEEP hole the program is in. The bottom line is we are still TWO solid recruiting classes from making the jump to at least the mid level of the ALWAYS tough SEC. We need to move that middle pack first and leave VU/AU/FLA/and possibly UGA and MIZZ in our5 rearview. There is young talent on the roster, BUT still 2-3 key players away.
