Jeb Bush is polling #1 among the GOP contenders. Not sure either party is really looking good right now. I suspect neither Clinton nor Bush get the nomination, though. If so, Gary Johnson might get more than 1% of the vote this time.

I do not like anyone running for president. We should demand new people to run or threaten not to show up to the polls next election, because even if I vote I do not think my views will be supported. WHY can't someone honest and decent and intelligent ever run for office.

That is one mean-looking, conniving, distrustful, evil looking woman? Would you TRUST this woman with your TAX money, with foreign policy, with her arrogance in the White House. I'd much rather have the current occupant remain than THAT lady. Did I really say that or mean that? You say lady! That's no lady!

I guess I don't like her because she doesn't make cookies!

She does need several face lifts! She looks like an OLD and when I say OLD, I mean VERY OLD woman. I know a 95 year old woman that looks much better.

Now, that is a very good question. Thanks for asking it. If you don't have a few $Billion? backing you, you can't win and that is very bad and NOT right in a country like ours. Any honest, decent, and intelligent person who would be a great President can't come up with those kind of BIG $BUCKS$.

Because those qualities have never been consistent with politicians at any level.

Thought I would resurrect this thread since it looks like she will make her candidacy official on Sunday. I take great pride in saying I support neither party, have voted for Democrats and Republicans for the highest office in the land. I have always tried to support the person who I perceived as best for the country and hopefully was honest and projected integrity. I can say unequivocally that Hillary Clinton does not represent America, in any form or fashion. As someone once said, "if you have integrity nothing else matters, if you don't nothing else matters".

IMO, she is the worst possible candidate in my lifetime as a voter and that goes back to Nixon vs Humphrey. I would be embarrassed having her represent America.

And yet she could turn out to be the least of two evils.:eek2:

Gray,

You and I are in total agreement.

I don't want Hillary near the Presidency. I don't respect her or trust her with my descendants lives and future. I don't want "Slick Willie" in our house or near it. Just imagine what he'd be doing. NO! I don't even want to have to think about that. Hillary is POWER Hungry! In a speech she said something about it being time for a woman President with herself in mind. If we need a woman let it be another woman, NOT "Slick Hillary".

I don't want another Bush in our house either.

It's really bad when you can't think of someone that really stands out as being Honest and having INTEGRITY in either party and that you just can't wait to support. We also need a Patriotic American as President and someone who is not doing on the job training in that important position. We need someone who will be President of ALL the People!

God help this country! I pray that God will or that God's Will will be Done in our country.

There is no way this is true considering those who have made their candidacy known on the Republican side.

Now, perhaps some serial killer out there will make their candidacy known in the future. If so, perhaps your statement might be true.

Geez. Some people will never learn. Does no one remember McCain vs. Obama and Romney vs. Obama? This has nothing to do with whether Hillary or Jeb is the most or least evil. It has everything to do with the Reps putting up the weakest candidate vs. Hillary so that she'll win the election.
That's probably the only way she wins. She sure hasn't done anything on her own worth a presidential nomination.

To add to the above post, I'm thinking Hillary gets snubbed one last time, which will finally sound the death knell for her political career. This is due partly because of the recent rise of Elizabeth Warren who btw is even more far left than both Hillary and Obama. Mostly though it's because Hillary won't be able to fend off the negative publicity that's surrounded her over the past 6 years.
I've long thought that the Republicans are headed in the same leftward direction as the Democrats. They just are at a slower pace in getting there. For that reason, most of the Republican candidates, especially those who still have a hint of Conservatism about them, will be hounded by the liberal press until they fold their tents and go home. The "new" Republican party is anything but Conservative because that is the reverse of their Socialist direction. What they'll be left with (and I emphasize they because I left them sometime back) is their furthest left leaning candidate Jeb Bush. But because Jeb is the weakest of all the Republican candidates he will eventually prove to be the Republican party's sacrificial lamb. In the end, the next POTUS will be Elizabeth Warren, who will then be sitting in the conductor's seat when this nation goes full steam off the cliff.
It will be during her administration that the next Civil War in this country will begin.

I hope you are correct that Clinton will be unable to gain her party's nomination, but I have seen too many Clinton comebacks to discount her electability. Warren scares me also; however, IMO she lacks the political savvy and muscle to win this go-around. As for the other party, who knows. Lots of prospective candidates in some instances allows for the least electable to survive the primaries and back into the nomination. I am afraid that the American populous is in for at least another 4 years of lack of leadership and continuing gridlock in congress.
