Alabama will make its third appearance in the NIT over the last five seasons when the No. 6 seed Crimson Tide hosts the No. 3 seeded Illinois Fighting Illini on Tuesday night at 8 p.m. CT on ESPN. Alabama will host the contest despite being the lower seed due to renovations being done to the Fighting Illini's home arena.
