So we didn't have a lot of star players but for some reason, everybody just assumed we were going to win six or so conference games and 10 or 11 regular games. But it didn't work out that way.

I was of those who assumed at least 10 wins. I don't have a favorite team in the East but I like that S Carolina has become a contender.

Usually I like Spurrier, but not when he's trying to gloss over a bad season by saying they had lots of bad seasons before he got there.

their crap team still beat jawjuh, so they were alright by me ;)
