Bama loses Game 3 to UF 7-4

Tide carried a 4-3 lead into bottom 7th but gave up 1 in 7th and 3 in 8th.

Hubbard walked 1st batter, then throwing error by Hubbard on bunt attempt put runners on 1st & 2nd with no out. Bunt moved runners to 2nd & 3rd. Intentional walk loaded the bases. Burrow relieved Hubbard and gave up a 2 RBI single and then after a K, gave up another RBI single.

Bramblett went 7 and gave up 4 runs on 7 hits, striking out 3 and walking none.

On offense, Henry had RBI double in 5th. Overstreet had a sac fly RBI in 6th. And Haynie's 2 run homer in same inning put Bama on top 4-3.

The throwing error by Hubbard was inexcusable. A simple toss to 1st would have meant 1 out and a runner on 2nd. Instead, runners on 1st & 2nd and the Gators sacrifice again - runners 2nd & 3rd. Forced us to walk the bases loaded. Barrow then gives up the 2 run single and the game was essentially over.

Not having a pitching coach keeps coming to mind this year,it appears our pitching staff is not ajusting to how they are being used. I just can not understand why we can not hire one.

lol, but Dax is a much better pitching coach than Andy is a hitting coach. It's totally dysfunctional staff and it will not get fixed as long as Mitch is in charge. Look, it's been this way for years, so I am not telling people anything they don't already know. This is just the way things are with our baseball program.
