Having 7-8 QBs does not result from "take a QB every year."The old recruiting adage "take a QB every year" is why this happens. And frankly, it's a good problem to have.

Dat arguement winning point thoOhio State taught us this year the horrible consequences of having too many good QBs...
I remember 2004 when we had just 3 on scholarship. Croyle went down leaving us with just Spencer Pennington and Marc Guillon. I don't ever want to see those days again.I understand that but still think we should limit our QB position to 3 or 4 (max) scholarship QBs..
The important word there is good. There wouldn't be 7 good QBs on 1 team. If they were all good they would transfer somewhere else and play. OSU had 3 good QBs and one was presumably in his last year. Nothing wrong with that at all. Think you missed the point that we have done a poor job of evaluating and/or developing QBs.Ohio State taught us this year the horrible consequences of having too many good QBs...
**LIKE**His goal is to learn from as many people as possible.
Hey man I hear he is the REAL DEAL! Him, Titus Ryan, and Duron Carter are going to light defenses up!!!!Marc Guillon
didn't we also have Brandon Avalos?I remember 2004 when we had just 3 on scholarship. Croyle went down leaving us with just Spencer Pennington and Marc Guillon. I don't ever want to see those days again.
Ugh. Yes we did. I remember his lone start in a Southern Miss game handing the ball off 200 times. Seems like he was dismissed a few weeks after that for behavioral/drug issues IIRC.didn't we also have Brandon Avalos?
