Star tailback Nick Chubb didn’t get too many touches Saturday, but scored on a 17-yard run for the Red team in the third quarter.
“It was wide open,” Chubb said. “Anybody could have done that.”
Chubb wasn’t exactly kept in bubble wrap to avoid injury, but he wasn’t used too much. Just like the previous two scrimmages.
He got six touches Saturday — three carries for 34 yards and three catches for 23.
