Well, that writer seems as confused by this team as we are. Ever since that loss to LSU it seems like Taylor hasn't been the same guy. Will Carter's record is a combination of poor support, bad luck, and at times, bad pitching. Our offense goes totally in to a shell at times. And yeah, the schedule has been rough. Really rough.

Unfortunately, this is typical of a Gaspard team while here at UA. Even when we had the team with Rutledge, Wilson, Dugas, Jake Smith, Jimmy Nelson, Peanut, Adam Morgan, we still limped along and needed a miracle run at the end of SEC play to barely make it to Hoover (back when it was still reasonably difficult to make it to Hoover -- top 8 out of 12 instead of top 12 of 14).
With the talent that this team has, I wouldn't be surprised if we swept Arky or Auburn and took 2 of 3 from the other two.
Of course, with the coaching that this team has, I also wouldn't be surprised if we get swept by Arky/Auburn and Vandy and lose 2 of 3 from the other one.
