The White House said this afternoon that a Texas shooting that occurred last weekend during a Mohammed cartoon contest was in fact an 'attempted terrorist act.'

'At this point, this is still under investigation by the FBI to determine any ties or affiliations these individuals may have had with ISIL or organizations around the world,' White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said today.

Please. He doesn't have to exalt firearms, he just has to praise the skill and courage of the officer who killed the gunmen. He praises combat troops often, and I'm pretty sure most of them use guns.
Oh praise the cop. Got it. Now I know why - he's gotta figure out how to work in the Ferguson-Baltimore base.
