As a former low single-digit handicapper, allow to me say, that was fantastic. No bogeys in the final round? That would be good for an LPGA'er. The 157-yard fairway bunker shot on her 18th hole? Hard to overstate how clutch that was. That is not an easy shot, by the way, during a mid-week round at the local club with your drinking buddies. A one-hour delay to think about having to make an 8' putt to possibly win a national championship? Excruciating! I thought, no way can she come out after that delay and pull it off. She thinks like a champion - she knew she had it all the way.
