Oh my Lord ! If we ever get to such a sad state in which we celebrate something like this (particularly after getting the ever lovin` hell beat out of us !), that`ll probably be my last day as a BAMA fan !
I thought they were phasing out "Ole Miss" because it is racist. (Serious question).

That was Saban's first BCS National title. Ole Miss was 7-1 in the SEC and LSU was 7-1 in the SEC with the tiebreaker over Ole Miss 17-14 at Vaught Hemingway. So LSU would play Georgia in the SECG in 2003.IDK why Ole Miss hung the banner but they did. It is as dumb as Auburn fans trying to claim 2004 title, but to their credit they didnt hang the banner. I think partially because they would have to pay tubberville alot of money if they ever claim that title.

Serious question. How many of you are embarrassed, as I am, to wear or display anything pertaining to Bama's claim of 15 NC's because of the inclusion of the 1941 title? And please don't bore me with comments about Deke Houlgate and/or the Houlgate System. I already know more that I ever wanted to know about him and his system.
Serious answer, I do not wear anything except my gray Alabama tee shirt that says BAMA and my Crimson polo with a script A.
I say don't make ANY claims. I say release a statement to the effect that, going forward, Bama will recognize the NC's as recognized by cfbdatawarehouse.com. Takes the monkey off everyone's back.
