Alabama Baseball to open the "New Joe" in 2016 with Maryland. Maryland just beat the # 1 ranked team in UCLA and now plays at Virginia in next weekends Super Regional. Coach Gaspard has his work cut out for him in 2016! I just wanted to let anyone know for 2016 schedule. I got the source and news from a e-mail tonight from Kendall Rogers of D1Baseball. Also, Houston Cougers return the trip to Tuscaloosa next season. (Home and Home series)

That's a very solid opening weekend opponent. We should have the pitching to compete. We'll see.
