TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Florida A&M University has named Milton Overton as the school's new athletic director.

Overton has spent the last 6 years at the University of Alabama where he served as the Senior Associate Athletics Director.

Edit: Just thought of the additional point that this probably means that when Battle leaves, we will probably hire outside of the department.
