Nick Saban is not taking any shortcuts to the College Football Playoff. The Tide kick the season off at Jerry World against a top-15 team in Wisconsin. After that, the reigning SEC champions must retain their crown against the toughest division in the sport, including trips to Athens, College Station, Starkville and Auburn.

After all is said and done, waiting on the other side of the Iron Bowl is a possible SEC title game berth, where Georgia may await for a rematch in Atlanta. If the Tide reach the Playoff, they’ll have earned it and then some.

I wouldn't be surprised if Bama is better this year but loses more games than last year. Other than the usual cupcakes on the schedule, I don't see a gimme win.
