Kind of surprised to see Cyrus Jones as first team SEC DB. Also wouldn't have expected Eddie Jackson to be listed at all since he struggled at DB last year and has since been moved to safety. I guess these projections are somewhat forward looking..

LSU has 3 DBs, and Alabama has 2 DBs on the list. Neither school has a player listed on the Jim Thorpe Award watch list. Pretty funny how that works.

Bama has more players on this list than Florida (3), Missouri (2), Tennessee (4), Vanderbilt (0) and Kentucky(2), combined. That's not bad for a "rebuilding" year.

In 2014 only 6 of the 1st team pre-season picks ended up making the team after the season. On defense they only got 3 right (I think). I imagine it'll be about as accurate this time.
