2016 DE Xavier Kelly Updates (Committed to Clemson)

Story

Xavier Kelly was going to wait until January to make his commitment, but decided to move things up a bit.

Kelly, a 6-foot-5, 255-pound defensive end from Wichita, Kan., will instead announce his commitment at 1 p.m. CT on Friday. Kelly is a four-star recruit ranked as the No. 102 overall prospect and No. 1 prospect in Kansas.

Alabama is in Kelly's top eight along with Florida State, Clemson, Michigan, Georgia, Kansas State, Oregon and TCU.
