This is absolutely disgusting. There is no way I would go into the water if were an athlete. Rio officials promised to clean up their waters, but doesnt look like they ever planned to anything about it. The video segment from Mike and Mike is quite telling. So you train for years and qualify for your event and then get Hep A or dysentery? Things like this happen when you have a corrupt IOC- Olympics in third world conditions. They might find a solution but I doubt it.
