The talk about Coker having the only NFL arm may be premature.

Stop dreaming FishMan! Hope Barnett developes into a good 'un.Back in '82, I used to be able to throw a pigskin a quarter mile.
That's cause you got some good skills. "You know like nunchuck skills, bow hunting skills, computer hacking skills. Girls only want boyfriends who have great skills!"Back in '82, I used to be able to throw a pigskin a quarter mile.

I don't recall many folks saying Coker is the only QB with a NFL arm on the team. Cornwell has a pretty solid arm, too.He took two steps and threw it seventy yards. I only posted this because everyone assumed Coker had the only NFL sized arm on the team, which doesn't appear to be the case given this demonstration. Of course there's more to passing than just throwing it far or hard, he's also at the camp of the guru you see on ESPN. Maybe it will be a three horse race.
Brodie was a good college quarterback though and would have had a lot of success at Alabama had there been a better supporting cast. At to NFL success, he did start in the NFL, but I don't think it means anything one way or the other when measuring how good a guy will be in college. Vince Young was great in college.Brodie Croyle had without question the strongest arm of any Alabama QB in my 50+ season memory. But that didn't translate into on-field success. Granted, his surrounding talent wasn't what we've had since his exit. But that arm strength also didn't buy success in the NFL.
