Thanks for the link. I didn't realize he was just down the road from me!

I hope he is able to find his path. I like that he's thoughtful about it and not just doing what others tell him to do or what he thinks others expect him to do. That level of individuality doesn't happen frequently enough nowadays.

Didn't realize you were in Gulf Breeze. Is that a recent development?

Unfortunately, without a degree it's probably impossible for him to become an officer outside of becoming a warrant officer. Of course if he had a degree he would probably be a Captain by now.
