Xavian Marks 5'11" 210?? Not 150?

This is from the UofA Athletics Dept website. Sloppy work at best.

maybe it was supposed to say 120 lbs.

It is my understanding that Xavian, is 5-foot-8, 155-pounds and Torin, is 5-foot-11, 170-pounds. Xavian (RB) will be on a football scholarship & possibly run track and Torin (DB) will be a walk on.

Well, we sent a back, Dee Hart, who was just as talented, but not big enough, but who weighted 180 or 190 lbs to Colorado State a couple of years ago. So why did we sign this guy? Based on what happened with Hart, this looks like a wasted scholly.

The two situations are not even remotely close.

Dee was highly recruited and expected to contribute in 2011. Unfortunately, he tore his ACL during summer camp. Therefore, he had to redshirt in 2011 and hope to get time in 2012 behind Eddie, TJ, Drake, and Nudie. He played in the first five games before tearing his other ACL. He got playing time in 2013 but decided to go to Colorado State with Coach Mac in 2014 to get a fresh start.

Yea, I would say maybe 5'8, but I'm guessing he is actually 5'7 and 145-150. So I guess they fudged a little during the signing info at 5'8 155. LOL

He definitely has the look of a track guy playing football. And yes they had a typo and had Gore's information instead of Marks.
