I'm waiing my terrible towel for Barrett!Hope he sees some time with the Steelers.With Pouncy out half the season Legursky is their starting Center.Jones is one injury away from PT.
Cody Wallace is actually gonna start at center for Pittsburgh. Regardless, this is a great spot to land for Jones as the Steelers love having linemen who have position flexibility and Barrett definitely fits the bill. If he can make it through the first month or so he could have a real future with the Steelers. I like the fit.
I'm surprised as everyone else in view of the fact that Jones can play any position on the OL. That being said, don't think we have to worry as he will do fine whatever he does. He had a Masters in Accounting before he left Bama and probably has passed the CPA exam already, so he will be just fine.
