Without senior safety Michael Caputo, Wisconsin's defense couldn't shutdown the middle of the field or tackle Alabama tailback Derrick Henry. The Crimson Tide junior had three of Alabama's four rushing touchdowns, including two lengthy runs, to help Alabama roll over Wisconsin in the season opener.

Derrick Henry seems to be a fan of domed stadiums. The Crimson Tide junior running back had another fine game in domes as he rushed 13 times for 147 yards (11.3 yards per carry) and three touchdowns in Alabama’s 35-17 win over Wisconsin Saturday night.

Alabama Coach Nick Saban may or may not have felt badgered by all the preseason questions about quarterback. When all was done in the Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington Saturday night, Wisconsin had to have felt badgered by an unexpectedly effective passing game.

Although there are a number of new quarterbacks on Southeastern Conference teams this season, it seemed there was more conversation about “the issue” at Alabama than anywhere else. And following Bama’s season-opening game, most of the discussion was about the starting Crimson Tide quarterback.
