I'd seen video of this kid. Big, big TE who's physically ready to play NOW. Could be a really good DE but insists on playing only TE in college. Very effective blocker, great size (6-5, 270 lbs), runs good routes and has soft hands. What's not to like if you're looking for a physical TE?
He could sign with Washington and be a part of a perennial "also ran" or come to Bama and play for a team that's almost always in the hunt for a national title. Seems like a no brainer to me.
Would love to see him in crimson but I have to wonder if the distance might be a bit much for him? Time will tell.
