Just a typical late arriving LA crowd. It was 6 PM when the game started. Anyone who has ever been on the highway(s) at 6 PM in LA would understand.

In case you're wondering why attendance at the Coliseum is sparse for the USC-Washington game. pic.twitter.com/oQwc09ap9C
the USC fans are rightly PO'ed about their AD scheduling a Thursday night at 6 game and hiring Sark

It is somewhat sad to see a proud program like USC barely fill half of the coliseum. Their student population is enormous, I just don't understand. :conf2:
I didn't watch that game, but this reminds me of the Miami Hurricanes. If you are a big time recruit and want to play in front of BIG crowds, you don't want to play for Miami! Do those people in Miami care about their football team, because they don't seem to support them by showing up in seats at the stadium?

Say what you will, "city folks" don't care as much about college football. If that game had been in Tuscaloosa, with the same traffic issues, Bama fans would have left home a week earlier, if necessary. When they moved the SEC championship game to ATL from BHM, they said they wanted a venue with less SEC bias. They sure got it. Most folks who read the Atlanta Urinal Constipation think the SEC is a government Agency.

Well, they're not entirely wrong. :biggrin2:

Appears his off the field issues haven't gone away. Link

GN insiders say there have been rumblings at USC about coach Steve Sarkisian, and they will get louder now that the Trojans have fallen to 3-2 after Thursday night’s home loss to Washington.

The Trojans — who were the preseason pick to win the Pac-12 South — have lost back-to-back home games for the first time since 2001, which was Pete Carroll’s first season as USC’s coach.

The rumblings haven’t necessarily been confined to Sarkisian’s on-field’s shortcomings. There are those who remain upset about Sarkisian’s actions — he appeared to be drunk — at a preseason function; he had to apologize the next day for his behavior, and athletic director Pat Haden released a statement expressing his disappointment with Sarkisian’s deportment. Sarkisian also is going through a publicly announced divorce.
