I watched about the first half-hour and then got tired of hearing the same old same old....

Jim Webb seemed more polished than most of the others and I liked his message but of course he's not liberal enough to be a legitimate contender.

I just can't fathom having a president like Bernie Sanders....aside from his 'politics' he just seems too old for the job.

Billary's annoying personality is enough of a reason for her not to get votes....(but of course she will get votes from the liberal sheep.)

I think it's the Republican's election to lose this round....if they play their cards right for a change.

I never heard "Constitution" mentioned. Not once.

Bernie reminded me of some old geezer at the doctor's office shouting at the receptionist because his suppositories won't stay in.

I think Jim Webb looked a little stiff in his delivery, but he was the only one on the stage that I agreed with on anything. He seems to be a true PATRIOTIC American and a good man. He seemed awkward in his delivery. Was he injured while serving in the military? Now, his delivery is not as bad as John McCain. He did express himself well, but like I said it looked awkward.

I just could NOT watch the whole thing. Hillary, just like Bill, turns me off. Both have an honesty/integrity problem IMHO. At least I did not hear that awful, horrendous, horrific laugh! Hillary declares that she's a PROGRESSIVE. That word as used is a misnomer and a POLITE way of saying SOCIALIST and deceiving Americans. The Socialist Democratic Party just needs to drop the Democratic part and say what they really are. Was Hillary trying to out-LEFT the leftist socialist Sanders to confiscate his followers?

I do think that Anderson Cooper did a very good job questioning (both original and follow-up) the candidates. Three of the candidates backed Hillary in her horrendously bad judgment regarding using a personal server and her email crap. Sickening. I think three of those guys are running for Vice President.

Because of the Electoral College plus and as a result of the illegal immigrant problem, I just don't think Republicans have a chance in this election cycle or any other cycles (2020 and beyond). That party could see its demise in 2016.

If you had to give an estimate on what the National Debt will be in 2020 and 2024, what would it be? $999,999,999,999,999+
With everything FREE and NO ONE working and all businesses headed elsewhere: China, India, Russia, Iran, Cuba, Germany, several African nations, etc., how will we continue to exist as a nation? We will owe everybody and not even have a tax base to confiscate any $$$ through taxing.

Things are not looking good for the USA! As I continue to say, I think most Americans are like robots. They can't think for themselves, so they let others think for them and applaud everything they say or do. If she told the audience that she was going to send them to ISIS/ISIL to be beheaded, I believe they would applaud her. JMHO

I don't think Bernie is too far out there. Compared to the Clintons' or most of the Republican field, his net worth is rather paltry.
Shouldn't that say something about him? If he can't manage his own money and be very profitable, how can we expect him to use our tax money wisely?

I really, really hope Hillary Clinton wins the nomination. She has no chance in a general election as she has way too much baggage.

What the?

Why on earth should not being filthy stinking rich be a strike against him?
I didn't say you had to be filthy or stinking rich, but he's been in Congress long enough to have saved a few bucks.

If he can't manage his money effectively, how can he manage OUR money?

Give me ambiguity or give me something else.

Nearly 800,000 worth of assets at 71 years old when you've been in public service for 30 years is saving a few bucks.

Real no win situation here.

"He's too rich to relate to the common man!"

Me:"He's not that rich."

"He's not that rich, so that means he doesn't manage money well!"

Me:"Sigh"

I don't understand how anyone could vote for Hillary Clinton, even those who use the "lesser of two evils" method of voting. She is so dishonest, so deceptive, conniving, criminal, etc. She is a facade of a facade of a facade to the point that she doesn't even know what reality is herself. Anyone who would vote for her, even over any of the Republicans, is truly too naive to have a vote in the first place.

I understand if you are so intrenched in your ideology that you simply cannot vote for a Republican. In that case, I would write in someone before I voted for her.

Gee, now you know how the Republicans feel every time the issue of race is brought up and they're accused with this line of cliches - 'Nixon Southern strategy, Reagan states rights, Willie Horton, Bush affirmative action opposition, Romney was a Mormon when the church was segregated.'

On the other hand, you DO make a valid point (one I concede) - it's how politics works. It's like the old skit 'you can't win with a bigot.' I'll explain and hope nobody takes offense because it IS sort of funny.

Black guy comes up to bat in a baseball game in a key moment. White bigot in the stands says, "Ah, he'll strike out like 'they' always do.'" Black guy hits game-winning home run. White bigot says, 'Well what to you expect, all they ever do is play sports and can't do an honest day's work for an honest day's pay.'

Same thing.

The debate could be viewed as a one upsmanship on federal entitlement programs. $19 trillion in debt and we want to give the world free college tuition and free healtcare among other goodies.

Expect Trump's already soaring poll numbers to move even further.

While I agree with everything you have said about Hillary; I just do not see anyone on the Republican side to beat her. I fear, that as has been said on here ad nauseum, most of the voting population does not care about her private email and the potential harm it caused to national security. The voters who support her care more about wealth and income redistribution and being able to continue relying on the federal government's tab at the risk of national security. 2016 will be yet another example of how out of touch with all America the Republican's have become. This country has become more polarized than any time I can recall in lifetime, a sad commentary on how far America has fallen.
