Auburn High School Kicker

I was at the Smiths Auburn game tonight. Auburn has a senior kicker worth a look the kid handled punting and kicking for them and has a legit shot at college.He actually kicked a free kick tonight for a 61 yard field goal. I had not even heard of the rule but apparently it does exist after a fair catch from that spot on the field. Not sure if our staff has given him any looks or not. But he is very solid.

We have Eddie Pinero committed to come in next year for 4 yrs so unless he de-commits this kid does not have a scholly offer. He may could get a walk-on offer.

I thought Eddie was a juco guy and we would only have him two years.......... if indeed we have him for the next four years and he is as good as advertised that would certainly be a big plus for us. I still would not mind seeing the kid from Auburn walk on but I imagine he is going to get a scolly somewhere.

Eddy Pineiro is red-shirting this year. My understanding is he has four years to play four.
