In early January, 2007 Nick Saban was announced as the head coach of the Alabama Crimson Tide football program. Since that time, the Tide has amassed a 99-18 (.846 winning percentage) record on the field, including playoff games. See the year-by-year record below:
2007: 7-6
2008: 12-2
2009: 14-0
2010: 10-3
2011: 12-1
2012: 13-1
2013: 11-2
2014: 12-2
2015: 8-1
Total: 99-18

If the Tide is able to beat Mississippi State on Saturday, Saban would enter triple digits in wins while at Alabama.
(Of course, the NCAA vacated 5 of Alabama’s wins in 2007, bringing the official record that year to 2-6. So it may be that according to their books the Tide would have to win 6 more games for Saban to officially reach the century mark. It just so happens that Alabama has 3 regular season games with the potential for up to 3 championship/playoff games left this season, for a total of 6)
In my mind, Saban has been unmatched in consistency and dominance since he moved to Tuscaloosa. I’m glad he’ll be at the helm on Saturday when he goes for #100.
Good luck Coach!
