Often times Alabama defensive linemen were holding off the block with one arm and tackling with another.
We saw this happen in the Georgia game - I think it might have been Daron Payne that game shedding a block with 1 arm and bringing the back down with the other.

EDIT: It was Jarran Reed

When LSU scored with 9:13 remaining, the Tigers were two scores from tying the game. Given the crazy endings through the first two months of the college football season, anything was possible and that was plenty of time. But the Tigers never got the ball back and Alabama needed only two pass plays out of 13 despite starting on their 2-yard line.

That, my friends, is the definition of imposing your will on an opponent.

Loved that part.

May be a bit harsh.

Maybe or Maybe Not. Put the shoe on the other foot. If CNS had lost 5 in a row and been dominated by CLM two or three times in that span AND had seemed unable or unwilling to try something different how would we feel?

"You can't beat Alabama trying to be Alabama."
