First of all, I'm glad he was convicted because he's an idiot. You don't attack an elderly person, much less anyone just for fun.

Still, why is it though, that only a white man was convicted of a hate crime, when this has been an overwhelmingly black on white assault? I have yet to hear of one black person who has initiated this time of assault be convicted of a hate crime.

I know. Again, its one of those reason I don't think race relations can be repaired until we quit labeling everything as a hate crime or hyphening everything. We're either Americans or we're not an allowing the Jesse Jacksons of the world to continue to exploit race as a way to get rich.
