I live in Oklahoma and we are having ice storms. If the field in Stillwater is bad, no surprise. What was with the field at Auburn. Has there been a lot of rain?

Dry lately, it seemed as though they slicked up the field. Ref slipped on Bama sideline.

Been discussing that via texts with some friends. To my knowledge it hasn't rained recently at Auburn but their feild appeared to have been wet down before the game. Is there an SEC rule against altering the condition of a field before a game?
