For Pete's sake, they're a good team but they're not the 85 Bears. They lost to Texas. TEXAS!!!! They should have lost to Tennessee and beat TCU only because the Frogs had a 3rd string QB.

It's a typical Big 12 team - score a truckload of points against also rans then get held to half that or less by a good D. I'll examine the stat lines closer as we get to that point.

They are good and certainly can beat us. But they're not invincible and we can beat them, too.

This OU team seems to have something extra though they've lacked in recent years--balance. They have a formidable rushing and passing attack on O and a pretty good defense.

Gotta remember, this is a lovely statement for them, but they also make a pretty loud statement next week when they aren't playing a championship game while the #4 and #5 teams are playing each other. I wouldn't be surprised of OU jumped us this week, and then the big ten champ jumped us again. If we win out, we're in. That's all that matters. And yes, that QB is literally everything I fear Alabama facing in a QB

Before everybody loses their minds slobbering all over OU, OSU has the 87th ranked defense and gave 53 up to Texas Tech, and give up 26 points or more to every team they played except Cental Michigan, Central Arkansas, Kansas and UTSA.

09/03/15 @ Cent. Michigan W 24-13 (1-0)
09/12/15 Central Ark. W 32-8 (2-0)
09/19/15 UTSA W 69-14 (3-0)
09/26/15 @ Texas W 30-27 (4-0)
10/03/15 Kansas State W 36-34 (5-0)
10/10/15 @ West Virginia W 33-26 (6-0)
10/24/15 Kansas W 58-10 (7-0)
10/31/15 @ Texas Tech W 70-53 (8-0)
11/07/15 TCU W 49-29 (9-0)
11/14/15 @ Iowa State W 35-31 (10-0)
11/21/15 Baylor L 45-35 (10-1)

The Sooners look good on both sides of the ball. Mayfield is a real player.

They're playing good ball right now. They're a tough out. I watched that Texas game and I have no clue what was up that day...just didn't take them seriously I guess.

Not terribly surprised. Oklahoma is doing all their damage on the ground, and Okie State has given up an average of over 250 yards per game in November, and worse through the air. They're 126th in total defense for November as well. Okie State has one of the worst defenses in CFB. Honestly we'd be doing the same against them.

Thanks. OK State wasn't all that great.

Keep in mind, OU has the 7th best rushing defense of the teams we will have played if we are matched against them. I guarantee Trent is the best RB they have seen. Trent would put 200 on them.

When OU beat Bama that was a Bama team still reeling from the Kick Six game. This time OU would be facing a Bama team with no such hangover. And you know how good Saban is in those "revenge" games. Not to mention they are still plenty of players that remember that loss to OU and the loss last year to OSU. So I am going to say it, I'm looking forward to a rematch with OU if Bama is fortunate enough to get them. There is no bad match up for Bama, imo. Bama is more than good enough to beat any team that could be in the playoffs. So, let's get pass Florida, and then look towards making up for last year's loss.
