I've seen lots of discussion about new coaches being a branch off of another successful coaches tree, but what is the requirement of said classification? Working for said coach for x number of years or playing a pivotal role in said coaches success? Take Coach Kiffin for example, will he be considered a branch off of coach Saban or Pete Carroll?

Probably more of CNS than CPC, due to being more recent and Bama's success.

As the son of a life long coach not sure that any apply, but if any do it would have to be CPC. That is where he developed his offensive philosophy. Saban leveraged a man who was already fully developed as an offensive mind.
